Property Group looking for a Senior Accountant to take ownership of a number of entities that hold diversified property assets. You will be working for a growing business that has an emphasis on culture and providing career development.

Our client is a growing property group that includes both a Asset Management and Property Fund business. You will be working with an excellent leadership team that have created a supportive and collaborative culture.

Description

Some of the main responsibilities will include;

Maintain full accounting records for group entitiesAssist the Head of Finance, CEO and COO and other team members as requiredParticipation in the budget and forecast processesPreparation of Financial Statements (Special Purpose and General Purpose) as required to meet statutory and other reporting deadlinesPreparation of Income Tax Returns and Business Activity StatementsLiaison with external service providers including financial and compliance auditors, banks and custodianReview, analysis and reporting of income and expense variances for buildings and entities as requiredAssist the Property Team in relation to Tenant transactions, queries and reconciliationsAssist with end of month processes and reports including credit card reconciliations

Profile

The successful candidate will be CA or CPA qualified, some of the highly desirable traits include:

Being an organised and methodical with great attention to detail.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.Ability to develop lasting and authentic working relationships at all levels.
